Subject: Requires inclusion of charter school employees for school district employee bonuses funded by the Legislature . Summary/Major Elements: This bill requires employees of charter schools to be included for purposes of participation in any salary adjustment for school district employees funded by the Legislature and specifies the charter school is entitled to 100% of the amount generated by its employees. Prior to this bill, the law was administered to exclude charter school employees from legislatively authorized salary bonuses unless specifically included in the authorization.
