Subject: Adoption of the Nurse Licensure Compact Summary/Major Elements: Currently, Wyoming law requires nurses to be licensed by the s tate to practice nursing in Wyoming . Wyoming nurses wishing to practice in another state are required to also be licensed in that state. This bill adopt s the Nurse Licensure Compact for Wyoming. Entering into the Compact allow s nurses licensed in one compact state, including Wyoming, to exercise a multi - state licensure privilege in other states that are a party to the Compact. The Board of Nursing is required to administer the Compact. This bill is similar to HB0056 – Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure Compact – and contains provisions which accommodate passage of HB0056 .
