Subject: Substantially revised the Occupational Therapy Practice Act Summary/Major Elements: This act makes numerous revisions to the Occupation al Therapy Practice Act. The act amends numerous provisions related to conduct that constitutes unprofessional conduct and amends provisions related to scope of practice. The act adopts new licensure an d temporary licensure standards and standards for reentry into the pr ofession, foreign license applicants, continuing educatio n requirements and licensure waive r s. The act clarifies the permissible role of unlicensed persons. The act amends the duties and procedures applicable to t he Board of Occupational Therapy and amends provisions related to membership on the Board.
