Subject: Amending the salaries of specified county officers. Summary/Major Elements: This act amends the salaries for county assessors, part-time county-and-prosecuting attorneys, part-time county attorneys, county clerks, clerks of district court, county sheriffs, and county treasurers. Beginning on January 2, 2023, those officers shall receive an annual salary of not more than the salary authorized for a circuit court judge (currently $145,000).
