Subject: Child Health Ins urance Program managed care req u ir ement. Summary/Major Elements: This bill responds to new federal law mandates by requiring that benefits in the Child Health Insurance P rogram (CHIP) include managed care to the same extent managed care is provided in the Wyoming Medicaid program. The managed care requirement is applicable only if CHIP is provided through a private insurance company licensed by the Wyoming Insurance C ommissioner to write insurance in Wyoming.
