Subject: WySE H RP dormancy in light of reduced enrollment. Summary/Major Elements: This bill amends statutes related to the Small Employer Health Reinsurance Program (WySE H RP /Program ) as a result of reduced participation levels. WySEHRP allows small group insurance carriers to cede either individuals or whole group s to the Program and coverage i s then provided pursuant to requirements of the Program . The bill amends how WySEHRP's board is nominated, reduces the permissible size of the board, and removes limitations on board membership. The bill allows the board to go dormant and amends provisions allowing the Wyoming Insurance Commissioner to reactivate the board. The bill amends obsolete language. Comments: This bill amends the Wyoming Small Employer Health Reinsurance Program to allow it to go dormant and then be reactivated by the Insurance Commissioner.
