Summary/Major Elements: This bill authorizes the Water Development Commission to purchase and manage the Lake DeSmet Reservoir Project , including water storage in Lake DeSmet, land containing Healy Reservoir, the Clear Creek diversion structure , and pumping and pipeline facilities related to the P roject. Th is bill creates the Lake DeSmet Reservoir account and provides funding for ongoing operation costs of the project.
