Bill Summary Bill No.: HB0076 Effective : Multiple Dates LSO No.: 18LSO-0380 Enrolled Act No.: HEA No. 0004 Chapter No.: 5 Prime Sponsor: Joint Appropriations Committee Catch Title: Supplemental security income program. Subject: State supplemental security income program. Summary/Major Elements: This act transfers the state supplemental security income program, and all previously appropriated funds for the program, from the Department of Family Services to the Department Health. Th is act requires the Department of Health to promulgate rules for administration of the program, including rules on procedures for applying, approving, reviewing and terminating assistance under the program. Comments: That portion of this act requiring rules by the Department of Health is effective immediately in order to allow the rules to be promulgated before a July 1, 201 8 , deadline. The remainder of the bill is effective July 1, 201 8 . The above summary is not an official publication of the Wyoming Legislature and is not an official statement of legislative intent.
