Subject: State Construction Department. Summary/Major Elements: Under current law, there are two statutorily created divisions within State Construction Department, the Construction Management Division and the School Facilities Division . In addition, budgeting procedures that differ from the state's standards budgeting procedures are currently required by statute for the State Construction Department . This bill creates a third division within the State Construction Department, the Operations Division . This bill does not specifically authorize appointment of an administrator of the Operations Division, unlike the other two divisions. This bill also requires the State Construction Department to use the stan dard, base and exception budgeting procedures and repeals conflicting budgeting procedures .
