Subject: Collection agency board – use of nationwide licensing system. Summary/Major Elements: This bill authorizes the collection agency board to utilize the nationwide multistate licensing system and registry for purposes of licensing applicants to the board, including channeling information related to background checks for applicants to the boa r d. Th is bill authorizes the dissemination of criminal history record information to the board for purposes of licensing and allows the board to require applicants to submit to a criminal background check.
