Subject: Provides authorization and funding for water development projects approved for study and planning. Summary/Major Elements: This bill authorizes specified reconnaissance (Level I) and feasibility (Level II) studies for water development projects. T his bill provides funding for the Office of Water Programs within the University of Wyoming. Th is bill provides a time extension for specified feasibility studies on dams and reservoirs. This bill authorizes a thirteen (13) year extension of the first increment of the Platte River Recovery Implementation Program . Th is bill provides for a reversion of funds from a cancelled feasibility study. Comments: See also the companion water bill, HB 78, Omnibus water bill construction. The Water Development Commission shall provide a report on each of the funded reconnaissance and feasibility studies to the Legislature prior to the 2020 legislative session.
