Subject: Child sexual abuse education, prevention and response in public schools. Summary/Major Elements: Authorizes school districts to provide appropriate education and training to parents, students and school district employees on child sexual abuse education, prevention and response issues. Requires the parent or legal guardian of a student to provide written permission to a school district before their student may participate in child sexual abuse education. Provides that school districts may collaborate with community organizations and officials on specified issues relating to child sexual abuse.
