Bill Summary Bill No.: SF0093 Effective : 7/1/2018 LSO No.: 18LSO-0313 Enrolled Act No.: SEA No. 0067 Chapter No.: 133 Prime Sponsor: Anselmi-Dalton Catch Title: Child sexual abuse education and prevention. Subject: Child sexual abuse education, prevention and response in public schools. Summary/Major Elements: Authorizes school districts to provide appropriate education and training to parents, students and school district employees on child sexual abuse education, prevention and response issues. Requires the parent or legal guardian of a student to provide written permission to a school district before their student may participate in child sexual abuse education. Provides that school districts may collaborate with community organizations and officials on specified issues relating to child sexual abuse. Comments: Commonly known as “Erin’s Law.” The above summary is not an official publication of the Wyoming Legislature and is not an official statement of legislative intent.
