Summary/Major Elements: This bill requires the Public Service Commission to engage in long-range planning regarding public utility regulatory policy. As part of the long-rage planning, the Public Service Commission is directed to require each affected electrical utility to file with the Commission any action plan developed as part of the affected electrical utility's integrated resource plan to enable the Commission to review and acknowledge the plan. The bill authorizes one (1) additional position within the Public Service Commission to implement the review of integrated resource plans under the bill. The bill provides definitions of "affected electrical utility" and "integrated resource plan".
