Summary/Major Elements: This act increases the retirement contribution required for employees covered under the Wyoming State Highway Patrol, Game and Fish Warden and Criminal Investigator Retirement Act. The act increases employee contributions by four and thirty-six hundredths percent (4.36%) (from fourteen and fifty-six hundredths percent (14.56%) to eighteen and ninety-two hundredths percent (18.92%) of salary). The act increases the amount of the employee contribution that the employer pays by thirty-nine hundredths percent (0.39%) (from two and sixty-four hundredths percent (2.64%) to three and three hundredths percent (3.03%)). The act appropriates funds from the general fund and from other funds to provide payment of the increase in the amount of employee contributions that the employer may pay. The act strikes obsolete provisions concerning employee contributions.
