Summary/Major Elements: Existing statute requires that when a city's or town's boundaries are uncertain or incapable of ascertainment and the boundaries change pursuant to an annexation, the city or town shall conduct a survey of the boundaries. This act removes this requirement in favor of allowing a city or town to conduct a survey in its discretion when the boundaries are uncertain or incapable of ascertainment.
